learn english

today....spend a day to study my english (actually...half day..hehehe)

hmmm....have studied present continuous, present simple, past simple, past continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous...abit confuse

present continuous = be + ing, mean u otw doing something

example: i am trying to work.

present simple = don't + verb / verb / do + verb, mean general what u do, how often u do...

example: i usually go away at weekend

past simple = didn't + present tense / past tense / did + present tense , mean something u did before now. action completed.

example:
a) i worked in a department store
b) she didn't enjoy it.
c) did you go out last night?

past continuous = was/were +ing , mean that time (before now) u otw doing something, middle of the action

example: i was playing football

present perfect = have + past participle, mean tell other a new information, what the result now.

example:
a) i have forgotten it
b) Have you just arrived?
present perfect continuous = have + been + ing, mean action not complete from past till now, or action recently stop

example:
a) i have been looking for you for the last half hour.
b) How long have you been learning English?

hmm...i still confuse this two - present perfect and present perfect continuous.... ahh....need do more exercise exercise.....

still hv past perfect, and past continuous....and so on.... oh no!!
